The short version. Coverly is a tool for running your own shipping guarantee. It is not insurance, and Found is not an insurer. You set the fee, you keep it, and you decide and honour every claim. Coverly records the promise and the decision — it never moves money.
The service
Coverly adds a package-protection toggle to your OpoShop cart, charges a fee you configure through a product it creates on your own store, records which orders bought protection, and gives you a claims inbox for buyers who report a problem.
⚠️ Coverly is not insurance
This is the most important term here. Coverly does not underwrite anything, does not pool risk, and does not pay out. It is software that helps you operate a guarantee you are making to your own customers, funded by a fee you charge them. Found is not a party to that guarantee.
You are responsible for describing the offer honestly to your buyers, and for complying with the law where you and they are located. Depending on your jurisdiction, describing a merchant guarantee as "insurance" — or structuring it as one — may be a regulated activity. Do not market Coverly's fee as insurance. Call it protection, a guarantee, or a replacement promise, and say plainly what it does and does not cover.
Your store, your money
The protection fee is a line item on your own order, paid to your own store through OpoShop's checkout. Found takes no commission on it and never holds it. Equally, when you approve a claim, the replacement or refund comes from you: Coverly records that you did it and cannot do it for you.
What Coverly may change on your store
Exactly one thing: the unlisted products Coverly creates for itself, one per protection price your rule can charge. It may create them and rename them. It can never modify, unpublish or delete any product it did not create — this is enforced in code, not by policy. Coverly does not place, cancel or fulfil orders, and never emails your buyers.
Acceptable use
Do not use Coverly to charge a fee for a guarantee you do not intend to honour, to misrepresent what is covered, or to charge buyers who cannot see and decline the fee. Do not attempt to interfere with the claim gate or to file claims on orders that are not your customers'. We may suspend an install that does any of these.
Availability
Coverly is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. If Coverly is unavailable, the storefront toggle simply does not render and your store carries on selling as normal — protection is never a blocker on a checkout.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Found's total liability arising from your use of Coverly is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Found is not liable for the cost of any replacement, refund or goodwill gesture you make to your own customers under your own guarantee, nor for indirect or consequential loss.
Cancelling
Uninstall Coverly from your OpoShop admin at any time. The toggle stops appearing immediately. The unlisted protection products remain on your store so that historical orders still reference a real product; you can delete them yourself if you wish. Your data is retained per the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
